I would like to invite you to join me for a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Our journey will allow us to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, the Blessed Virgin, and the first disciples. We will visit Bethlehem, where Jesus was born, and Nazareth, where he grew up. The pilgrimage will take us to important places of Christ's public ministry, such as the Jordan River, Cana, and the Mount of the Beatitudes, places where Jesus was baptized, performed His first miracle, and fulfilled the law with His teaching. Our time in Jerusalem will allow us to see where Jesus made his triumphal entry on Palm Sunday, and where He carried the Cross and died for our salvation. The high point of our pilgrimage will be the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Jesus was laid to rest and in three days rose from the dead! These are just few of the many places we will visit. Each day Mass will be offered, and we will take time for prayer, reflecting upon the gospel texts appropriate to the places we visit. This will be a pilgrimage of a lifetime and it will forever change the way we read and understand the Scriptures. I pray that you can join us on what promises to be a grace-filled journey to the land from where our Salvation has come.
